South Miami Dermatology was founded in 2009 by Georgette Rodriguez, MD, a board-certified dermatologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. Dr. Rodriguez is widely recognized throughout South Florida for her commitment to excellence in patient care. She is deeply passionate about delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment rooted in both medical expertise and compassion.
In addition to comprehensive medical dermatology, Dr. Rodriguez specializes in cosmetic dermatology, offering advanced treatments including injectable wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers and laser procedures designed to enhance and restore natural beauty.
In 2017, Chloe Kuhn, PA‑C joined the practice, quickly expanding its reach. Together, Dr. Rodriguez and Chloe Kuhn, PA-C are trusted providers known for their dedication to their patients serving with integrity, expertise, and care.

Georgette Rodriguez, MD, MPH
Georgette Rodriguez is the founder and owner of South Miami Dermatology, which she established in 2009. Widely respected throughout South Florida, Dr. Rodriguez is known for her clinical expertise, thoughtful approach to patient care, and long-standing commitment to the community she serves.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University before completing a Master of Public Health at the University of Miami. Dr. Rodriguez went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Florida, where she also completed an internship in general surgery. She then returned to the University of Miami for her dermatology residency, during which she served as Co-Chief Resident. After completing her residency, Dr. Rodriguez also practiced at the Miami VA Healthcare System, gaining extensive academic and clinical experience before opening her private practice.
A board certified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Rodriguez is deeply dedicated to providing high-quality care. She is widely admired by both patients and colleagues for her integrity, clinical excellence, and lasting impact within the community.
Chloe Kuhn, MMS, PA-C
Chloe Kuhn has been a valued member of South Miami Dermatology since 2009, bringing years of experience and continuity of care to the practice. She earned her Master of Medical Science from Saint Francis University and transitioned into her role as a Physician Associate in 2017 after completing the Miami Dade Physician Assistant Program with highest honors.
Chloe specializes in laser procedures and lip enhancement treatments, combining technical expertise with an artistic eye to deliver natural, refined results. Known for her approachable demeanor and attention to detail, she is deeply committed to providing high-quality care and building lasting relationships with her patients.
Irene Garcia-Casanova
Irene Garcia-Casanova is a board certified, dermatology trained medical aesthetician with over 24 years of experience in the aesthetics industry. She brings extensive expertise from both dermatology and plastic surgery settings and has been a trusted member of South Miami Dermatology since 2009.
Irene is highly trained in a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments, including body contouring, skin tightening, laser and light-based therapies, medical grade facials and chemical peels. She is known for her ability to thoughtfully assess each patient’s skin and create customized treatment plans and skincare regimens that deliver visible, lasting results.
Passionate about skin health and patient education, Irene is dedicated to helping patients correct, rejuvenate and maintain their skin while providing a personalized experience that makes every patient feel confident and well cared for.
Neisy Alonso
Neisy Alonso has been a valued member of the South Miami Dermatology team since 2014 and is a beloved part of the office family. With years of experience as a dermatology medical assistant and aesthetician, Neisy plays an integral role in delivering high-quality patient care.
She works closely alongside Georgette Rodriguez-Vazquez, MD and Chloe Kuhn, PA-C, serving as a key clinical support and trusted member of the care team. Neisy is also skilled in performing aesthetic treatments such as Clear + Brilliant, Hydrafacial, Morpheus8 and more, consistently helping patients achieve noticeable results through attentive care and expertise.
